I welcome failure in any effort I make, even at the effort to make money blogging. That's right, I want to fail.
There was a small machine shop, where I was a foreman, that was owned by a man who knew nothing about metal removal techniques and processes. He was a Bean Counter for Chist's sake.
That man's favorite past time was to stick his nose into the machining and say, "Turn those feeds and speeds dials up until the tool breaks. Then back it down until it doesn't break the tool."

Breaking My Permalink Structure To Make An SEO Omelette
Last time around, I promised that I was going to perform a death defying feat by breaking my WordPress permalink structure, and that's exactly what I'm going to do.
We now know that permalinks are URLs assigned to content so that users and search engines can find said content. We also understand that WordPress gives us the ability to edit the title "slugs" in our permalinks so that we can better optimize our URLs for SEO purposes.

Discovering Permalinks
What are permalinks? In essence, a permalink (shortened from permanent link) is the URL given to published content so that content can be archived as well as searched for via the search engines. In addition, because they are structured URLs, they are also crawled by the search engine spiders.
Search engines rely on links to find content and to gage just how good content is. Links are how Google Page Rank (PR) is passed from content to content.
